I’m Kate Perry, a brand designer and strategist.

I work with passionate business owners in their encore careers, in particular, mums busting out to conquer their business desires after time away from work.

I believe that everyone is capable of building a sustainable, impactful business if they seek out the knowledge and help they need. My work focuses on getting to the heart of the business and the people it seeks to serve. The process I’ve developed ensures that every brand identity I create beautifully represents what the business is at its core.

I’ve been designing, illustrating and bringing remarkable brands to life for over 20 years. When I first finished uni, I moved to London to work with British artist, Damien Hirst. On my return, I went on to work with the equally amazing Di Perry fashion designer (and my mother). Along the way I created a children’s clothing line, Red Chalk. I then developed R C / K P my adult clothing brand. Before I paused to raise two kids, I worked at Queensland Art Gallery / GoMA. On the way, I’ve done a bunch of freelance work as an illustrator and graphic designer.

When I’m not designing brands, I’m bringing what I know about branding and marketing to my social enterprise, Wiserr. There, I help older people showcase and promote their business online. The wiser generation has so much wisdom and knowledge. My heart's mission is to equip them with the resources and resourcefulness they need to profit from this wisdom and knowledge.

I’m in sunny Queensland in Australia. I share my life with a lovable cycling nut named Dan and I love hanging tough with my two well-adjusted kids who blow my mind every day.
